Miesha Theresa

Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed martial art pundit. She is also an expert in mixed martial arts. Tate was a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championships and was an UFC Women's Bantamweight champion. Her birthplace was in Tacoma and has been active since high school. While she was studying at Central Washington University Central Washington University, she joined the mixed martial arts team following a recommendation from a friend. She took on her first amateur competition at 20 against Elizabeth Posener who was a Muay Thai expert. Following that, in the One-night HOOKnSHOOT Women's Great Prix where she was able to make her professional debut. Tate won her first FCF Women's Bantamweight Championship after two years. Tate was highly praised and applauded for her fighting style that incorporated Brazilian JiuJitsu and wrestling. Tate gained more attention when she was awarded an award called the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Championship shortly following her win. With her mixed-martial sports career, she has a modeling career on different websites and publications, such as "ESPN The Magazine" as well as "Fitness Gurls".
