Vinita Nair

She started at the station in July 2004 and reported across a variety of subjects, such as investigation into the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair started her role as an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 and was working for ABC News Now. She was responsible for anchoring news live coverage along with briefings on ABC's digital channels. Nair was co-anchoring World News Now on ABC from September 17 onwards, 2008. through January 18, 2011 and America This Morning. In both programs, Nair was partnered initially with Jeremy Hubbard. Later she was paired with Rob Nelson. Nair told the viewers on World News Now that she was not going to be on World News Now after Friday the 18th of February. Also, it would be her final day at ABC News. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor for KDVR Denver, was her direct successor. In all three segments of World News Now's February 18 broadcast, Nair was honored by her former colleagues as well like Jeremy Hubbard. She lavished the team with a hot breakfast in her final day.
