Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell (born on 25th August 1949) is an American TV chef personality. She also was a former instructor of the Institute of Culinary Education. Anne Burrell. Burrell is the host of Secrets of a Restaurant Chef on the Food Network, as well as the co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef is a hit with her signature spiky blond locks and pumped up appearance, offers easy techniques anybody can learn. Chef Burrell has worked and studied at the top New York restaurants. He was also a part of Iron Chef America and the cuisine of Italy. Burrell was born living in New York State's Upstate, developed an early passion for cooking. The Culinary Institute of America was the next step following her graduation with the Bachelor of Arts in English and Communications in the fall of 2004 from Canisius College Buffalo NY. The Culinary Institute of America has been a great adventure. I just couldn't get enough enjoyment from it. After graduating, chef Burrell resided in Italy for a whole year studying at an Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. Also, she was employed at La Taverna del Lupo and La Bottega del 30 (a Michelin starred restaurant) in Tuscany. In Italy, she developed a deep appreciation and understanding of Italian culinary and cultural traditions. It has had a profound impact on the way that Burrell approaches her cuisine. Burrell was a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board which helps brighten the lives of children facing obstacles and is also a Juvenile Diabetic Research Foundation celebrity ambassador, where she promotes the awareness of juvenile diabetes. She travels frequently around the nation in her capacity as a mentor as well as a public speaker in which she speaks about her professional life and the joy of cooking. Anne has always been grateful she had the opportunity to share her love that she had for sharing her cooking skills with other people.
