Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina Shchenko is an Kyrgyzstani Muay Thay champion. She is currently a fighter within the UFC Flyweight division. Valentina is her elder sister and a fellow UFC competitors. Antonina Shevchenko's professional career in combat sport began with her debut as a Muay Thai athlete. Shevchenko debuted on the IFMA World Championship Tournament in 2003. Shevchenko took the title after which she defeated Suzane Mller with a majority vote. Antonina was able to follow it up, and won a silver medal in 2007, a bronze award in 2008 a gold medal in 2011 and the 2016 IFMA Amateur Muay Thai World Champion. Antonia began her professional career in 2003, and she took home the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championship in 2012, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championship in 2016, and also the WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships in the year 2016. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas last at Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a unanimity. Antonina shevchenko fought her debut professional MMA fight in 2002, against Anara bayanova, who was fighting at the KFK Cup in Kyrgystan. She won 3-0 following the second-round TKO. The following two fights were won at WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko took a hiatus to concentrate on the sport of kickboxing. Shevchenko returned against Anissahaddaoui at Phoenix FC 3. Shevchenko defeated Anissa via unanimous decision before prevailing over Valerie Domergue at Phoenix FC 4. She joined Dana White Contender Series 2018 following the departure of the league. Shevchenko wrestled Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series. Antonina knocked out Nievera using her striking skills that were superior in the final clinch through knees to the body. After this win, Antonina received a UFC contract. Antonina Shychenko debuted in the UFC at the Heavy Hitters event of TUF finals against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the fight with a unanimous decision. She losing her following fight to Roxanne Modafferi in a split decision. Antonina bounced back from losing to defeat Lucie Pudilova with a back-naked choke submission during the second round of UFC on ESPN Covington Vs. Lawler. She earned the extra fight of the night in this fight. Shevchenko had a 1-2 record over her next three bouts she won against Ariane Lipski while falling to Katlyn Clarkagian as well as Andrea Lee. Recently Antonina fell to Casey O'Neill at UFC Fight Night Santos vs. Walker via second-round TKO.
